Clearer progress, easier start

  • NewA Progress page for parents: this week at a glance, where your child is in the unit, time each day, skills by group, where it was hard and what Kizupi did, and ideas to try at home. It replaces the dashboard and weekly report tabs.
  • NewInvite a co-parent from Settings → Family. They sign in with their own email and see the same children and progress.
  • New“How to play”: a short practice run with Kizupi before the first lesson, replayable from the map. Lessons are no longer interrupted by a tour.
  • NewA “Getting started” guide for grown-ups, offered after setup and always under Guide.
  • BetterThe app opens sideways on phones and tablets, even when they’re held upright, and fits on phone screens.

Kizupi is live, and free

  • NewOpen to every family. Sign in with your email, no invitation or access code.
  • NewA new name and look: Whyzy is now Kizupi, with a pixel wordmark and a rebuilt website.
  • NewTerms of use, a full privacy policy with a children’s privacy section, and this changelog.

Worlds and words

  • NewA Jungle world, with Frog as its buddy. That makes eight worlds.
  • NewHelp in 15 languages. Kizupi reads, captions and helps in the language your child picks, and they can answer in it.
  • NewKizupi watches what your child is doing and points at what matters on the screen.
  • BetterHome shows the whole unit as a list beside the Next-up card; homework and notebook moved to the top bar; each unit gets its own map.
  • BetterEvery problem, hint and mission reread and reworded, in all six grades.

Pictures for every problem

  • NewA picture beside the notepad for every problem in every grade: bar models, balances, number lines, arrays, area grids, angles, coordinate planes, fraction bars and more.
  • NewKid-friendly jokes after a clean win (you can turn them off), and a first-time tour of the lesson screen.
  • NewA load screen, and the app updates itself when a new version is out, never in the middle of a lesson.
  • BetterGentler help and pictures of real objects. The lesson screen now stays in landscape.

A curriculum in three strands

  • NewEvery grade split into three units in the Russian math tradition: number, algebra, then geometry and logic.
  • NewA unit challenge at the end of every unit, and moving on to the next one.

  • FixA child is never stuck on one lesson: star lessons and second tries move on.
